Pat, regarding CSCO cc: "We're pleased with IXCs, ISPs, and next-generation markets... . Bell Atlantic, and SBC, jury still out. We're strong in GTE and US West. There are challenges in Europe. " CSCO is pleased with IXC, where they favorite edge is covered with NN's 36170. IXC Gemini network is structure this way that CSCO core router is pleased in core , and NN's ATM on the edge with management platform. Anyone interested in IXC network should visit they web site for specific description of network. As for ION Listwin had hope they participation will be the growing one. Last year CSCO sounded that this is done deal, but not today. Zbyslaw

Pat, Up until the 45 gig upgrade becomes available, NN and NT have a window of opportunity. CSCO is NOT conceding the core ATM market. They are focussing on the edge, which is a much larger market. The opportunity for NN is an 8 month window. They have to execute and close all the deals they can in this timeframe. If the can do this, they can secure major ATM deals for years to come. As a side note and a CSCO shareholder, all CSCO longs are ecstatic at yet another 2 for 1 split. This is my 4th split since owning CSCO; it's been by far the best investment I've ever made. That's why I defend CSCO so adamantly on this thread. I'm sorry if I go overboard. For all the NN longs, I sincerely hope they execute and bring you the returns I and others have enjoyed in CSCO. The opportunity is there, if they execute. Cheers, peppe
