I think people with common sense and rationality strongly disagree. Priceline is "selling" tickets now because the company subsidizes the bidders to make the sales happen. If you set up a web site, then give things away on the web, I bet you'll "sell" quite a bit of whatever you're selling too. The company knows darn well this so-called biz model can not be sustained. Once the subsidies stop, then what ? Can they still sell tickets? The verdict is still out.

I think PCLN is worth no more than 10% of its current valuation. The underwriters are no dummies, they initially priced PCLN between $7-9 for good reasons.
