You know, JC is a very careful man. I have argued that he is too careful sometimes and I think he might have agreed with me once or twice. Would he have mentioned Sun by name as a potential future partner in last year's 4Q earnings conference call if something wasn't cooking? Maybe, but is it in keeping with his MO? Then of course there is always the possibility that something might fall through. There is a good deal of ink devoted to Sun in the May 11 issue of Computer World. Sun has a big conference coming up in June if I remember correctly. Another good source for clues to potential partners is the Aspect's employment requisitions both here and abroad. If you see an ad in Germany for an engineer who has specific knowledge of a particular company's hardware, you have to ask yourself why is that a requirement? Could be just R & D with nothing particular in mind perhaps. Might also be a clue. Inspector Clousseau follows all clues,<g>wherever they might lead him.
