Craig,

Re: AOL deal

This deal is extremely questionable IMHO.

Apparently you need a seperate phone line for uplinking.

In addition you need a seperate satellite antenna installed with reciever.

This translates to $200-300 expense per customer to get started and then the service and access is not cheap.

I don't see 1M folks signing up in year 1 let alone 10M folks.

This is simply a sexy announcement with not much behind it.

The key for AOL is ADSL as they are leveraged out of the Cable market.

Regards,

Kash.

Craig,

re: TSM has said publicly that they don't want Portland...

Really. You might be surprised. You might see National with the benefit of Portland without the expense of Portland. It will be an interesting summer.

Pravin.

Craig,

WEll the problem is, a fab plant is not something that is easy to sell :).. let alone a CPU design team.

May National should put the whole thing on buy.com or something ;)

Steve
