OFF TOPIC re:" It's easy to sit back in the comfort of one's home after having a big meal
and say Bosnia was not our problem... Or Kosovo is not our problem... Then
as one helps oneself to dessert they say, "why should we get involved"???
Be thankful that you're not in their shoes, being forced out of your home,
and walking all the way to the border after your home has been burned, your
wife raped, and your uncle shot and thrown in a ditch... Sometimes doing
the right thing isn't easy... Helping the helpless is doing the right thing...
Unfortunately we don't have the resources to be everywhere, but at least we
are somewhere..." You are exactly right...I just don't think this one of those times we should have gotten involved. This is my personal opinion. I think it was right and supported our troops when they stopped Saddam Hussein from INVADING ANOTHER COUNTRY. I am thankful that Japan forced us into WWII ..without our troops the world would definitely look differently now and Hitler would have gone unchecked.
How much sleep did you lose over all the killing during the civil war in Rwanda? Did you enjoy any meals during the time little babies were starving and being massacred? These 2 questions are almost as ridiculous as yours.
We could argue these points for infinity..to say that someone who is against our being involved in a conflict somewhere doesn't care for human life could be used in any conflict FOR ANY EXCUSE BY OUR LEADERS TO GO TO WAR anywhere, anytime, against anyone...just as long as it suits his or her purposes. This is the point I'm getting at. OUR LEADER and his purposes.

And the Kasovars have done of this themselves? Are they completely innocent? There are no real comparison between the Jewish European and the Kasovar. I know I shouldn't be posting this to this forum
but ...
