From MarketEdge, institutions hold 5.41% (down from 7%) and insiders hold 15% (no change) as of 5/7 from three months ago. The outstanding shares are 41.55M shares.

Don't know who own the rest of 80% shares. Probably, many portion would be owned by GATE employees throughout options and 401K. Theoretically, small investors like us may, however, have decision power. Your vote may not be a waste of time.

Wonder how GATE manage shortage of finance.

Good Luck

It's tough to second-guess management in a situation like this. I think I have to believe that my interests - up to a point - match those of the major investors. I've stuck with them this long: my vote is yes on both propositions.

easytarget, reverse split may be desired to go back to the NAZ, you need trading price above a buck and some minimum assets. The problem with reverse splits, unless they are rapidly followed by extremely good news on the business front, they often cause slow deterioration of the stock price to levels below those (equivalent) of the presplit price. The reasons are purely technical, when a stock reverse split, a lot of odd lots are created and over a period of 3 to six months these are dumped on the market indiscriminately, causing the price to fall.
