...MU and Samsung are winning ...

Let us not forget about Hyundai. I think of the three only two will survive operating as they do now. Samsung will stay the same, so Hyundai and MU will be in the fight for their technical lives.

Just my opinion.

carl, when one holds back inventory, one's costs go up. when one doesn't hold back inventory, one's costs go down. japan as a whole isn't much less efficient than mu, if at all. sure, anybody that holds inventory will have higher costs. it happened to mu.

mu isn't winning squat other than the increased debt game ;-)

will japan, the epitome of a free market system ;-) let their chippies fall from grace? i don't think so - at least not for a long time.

so, how about the proposed bet of operating eps? is there any substance to you that will cosign for your comeback? huh? huh? ;-)
