Chris Land, Good Morning! I certainly appreciate your using Genesis 2:24 to illustrate the oneness of God and Christ, they shall be one flesh. You wrote "we know for sure that a couple doesn't actually become one being." Exactly!! Oneness, but not one being! I and the Father are one The glory which thou hast given me I have given unto them; that they may be one even as we are one; I in them and thou in me, that they may be perfected into one I planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase ...
