Walter, that is not a good point.... "I cannot see anyone marketing a handheld music device not wanting to be able to tell their customers that their device will work will(sic) with all compression systems." ...Point of fact, they are selling them, (non-compatibles), as you read this. Although I would hazard a guess that he meant...in the future, but even then, there will be different camps for a while. IMO of course. As for next year being in other labeled players, well that would be good to have follow up business. Life is more than just this Christmas, and the gizmos seem to be selling well right now, at this time of year and there is an entire world of listeners to sell to. Best, Savant
