SCUMbria - Re: "Give them a few more weeks"

You sound just like that incompetent Jerry Sanders - a few more weeks - another quarter - Profits Are Coming - Yada Yada Yada!

In a few more weeks, a few more weeks will have past when AMD still isn't shipping the Kmart 63s.

What customer in his right mind would sign up for Jerry's NEXT dream when he hasn't delivered on his LAST dream ?

Remember - Sanders started hyping the SharpEYe in October, 1997.

BUT...

Intel delivered the Mendocino Celeron (Pentium II + 128 K on-chip L2 cache) in July of 1998.

Intel delivered the Dixon (Pentium II + 256 K on-chip L2 cache) in January of 1999.

AMD LAUNCHED the SharpEye Kmart 63 in February 1999 - and IT STILL CAN'T BE FOUND !

How is AMD going to do any better with the K-O 7 ?

Paul

Scumbria, Re: Give them a few more weeks.

Does that mean you think AMD would go substantially lower
in a few weeks time so that Intel can buy it at a much
cheaper price ?
