It's official: Lycos deal called off.

Lycos, USA, Ticketmaster Call Off Merger

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Lycos Inc. (Nasdaq:LCOS - news), USA Networks Inc. (Nasdaq:USAI - news) and Ticketmaster
Online-CitySearch Inc. confirmed Wednesday they had called off their complex merger, but had agreed to remain business
partners.

The deal's end, in the face of stiff Lycos shareholder opposition, requires Lycos to pay USA Networks' Interactive unit and
Ticketmaster Online $35 million if the Internet media network agrees to another acquisition deal before July 15.

mark,

after buying cmgi at 218, i never saw it traded below that level. :-)
after selling that naked put, the stock went down. :-(

the above show that we cannot time the market. would anybody buy yesterday if he/she knew that rubin would resign?
