Geez. That article sounds like it was written by a LU or ASND employee. Although there is truth that Cisco has a lot to learn and truth to the fact that their chances in monopolizing the carrier market are slim at best, CISCO is still a gorilla. Perhaps the writer needs to go read the book. Furthermore the writer clearly doesn't understand the data/voice traffic paradigm. Voice will indeed ride for free. Carriers will give it away to win customers. Remember this post. I'll be right - in less than 5 years you'll be making free telephone calls anywhere in the US. OG
