the 2 for 1 announce date was wayyyy back on 3-2 with a "record date" of 6-2. The shareholders meeting is set for 5-28, they will all vote to support the 2 for 1 and pick the "pay date". I think it was poor timing on ATHM's part to announce with no pay date in sight. The same thing EMC did and I think the stock loses some of the "buzz" when this happens. It's better when companies like RealNetworks announce a 2 for 1 on 4-20 and the split date is 3 weeks later on 5-10. ATHM long ... just wish the exec's did a better job of marketing the stock. Mike- Shareholders will meet at the annual meeting on Friday, May 28th. They will vote the release of shares at that meeting. The record date for owning shares is June 2nd. Good luck! Ed P.S. Anyone attending the meeting?
