Heynow Mark Haines,

Just wanna say that you, Ted and Faber are favorites (that you were an admitted Deadhead IMO pushes you to the upper end of that scale)

Your meeting with Larry Summers story was funny, but I gotta correct your lighthearted excuse attempt - he looks *exactly* in person as he does on air <g>. I had the chance last year to hear him speak at an H&Q tech luncheon and chat with him afterward.

Summers is a brilliant and highly regarded political and economic scholar. The one street "negative" is that he is perceived as a died-in-the-wool bleeding-heart. Now this actually has endeared him to me all the more because he has both great integrity and theoretical and practical command, as well as an appreciation and sensitivity for social equality and justice. I think he'll make a great Treasury Secretary, even if a conservative Congress might put him on the grille.

Just thought I'd offer a perspective and say "thanks dude" for your contributions to CNBC.
