Oliver,
The finacials are related to the year ending 12/31/98. The run-up in ZSUN stock does come into it since they are reporting it's value as an unrealized gain. Actually this may not be just ZSUN shares but others, but practically everything is up from the first of the year.
Now, if you want to start getting nickel and dime about price/sales how about we look back to a 97 comparison. If you note it says that MAI is the surviving entity for accounting purposes, so i'm assuming the bulk of the 97 numbers are from it. MAI from what can be gathered in the report and from Tobin interview, etc. back in 97 was pretty much a printing business with less than $900k in net sales. I would bet you could buy printing company that small all day long around the world for 1x sales, and that still, with no growth, accounts for 1/3 of sales in 98. So factoring that out the price/sales for the internet part becomes further inflated.
I'd also sure like to see that $1.3 million General and Administrative expense number broken down also, and see where the additional 1.1 million over 97's number went to.
If you'll note, the companies income from operations actually fell from 97 to 98, so my guess is if you take away the printing press operation then the internet only parts were not profitable.
