Les,

The KLA is just a bunch of street punks with smack
to sell and an ax to grind. I pity the fool Clinton
who is going to turn the US into peacekeepers in
Kosovo with the KLA running in the streets seeking
revenge against the 200,000 Serbs who still live in
the province. This whole Balkan campaign is a dis-
aster but Bubba is too stupid to see this. No wonder
Al Gore is begging Clinton not to send in ground troops.
He does not want to campaign for President with the
body bags and carnage.

Thank you for the link to that article Les!!

The cop laughed as the frightened child scrambled to rescue the cigarettes from the mud puddles. Many of the Serb police were sent to Kosovo as a demotion or a punishment for misbehavior.

I found this part kinda interesting since when I was stationed in Panama, I saw something similar. I spent 5 months in the Darien province (..@sshole of the world) and part of my job was to liaison with the local police. Many of my discussions with them indicated a similar story.

But also many of them were stationed in that backwater because they were unwilling to be as corrupt as their co-workers who were part of the corrupt money machine that makes up most of the Panama City police.

The entire article is an EXCELLENT read.

To bad it's from a Council on Foreign Relations publication. PK probably figures it's nothing more than lies and Trilateral Commission propaganda. <VBG>

Ron
