To all,

Well we were surprised this morning as well, and I would like to help clarify a few items as the phone has been ringing off the hook this morning.

1. We are in final contract negotiations with PC Free.COM. We see no major issues and this is a normal OEM type relationship for Wave. They are planning to use the Haup TV Turner card and may upgrade to a digital TV card in the future. Wave will share transactional revenue with them as is customary in our OEM agreements.
2. We were not provided a copy of this press release prior to it's release and I think you can tell it is not our style.
3. I can confirm that PC Free has access to significant debt financing to fund initial deployments of units. They have
announced some and they have made good progress.
4. They are still an early stage startup company.

In general we like their premise of offering a set of services that come along with a computer. Their model is very consumer centric with a good service model and pricing model. The idea of a 39/month computer with no long term contract, should be interesting for many new computer buyers. With access to great content, connectivity services, and support they may have success.

When we conclude our agreement we will issue a press release with the appropriate details. We look forward to supporting PC Free. They have hopes and plans to ship millions of units, they have yet to execute on those plans.

I hope this addresses any question you have at this time.

I believe that a reasonable conclusion is that PC-FREE got a bit over-enthusiastic and may have announced a bit prematurely.

Thanks to Steven Sprague for responding to our inquiries so quickly and frankly, especially in view of the many things competing for his time right now.
