Some people, like the thread moron stooges, just don't get it. My wife and I don't even have a local phone. All we have are mobile phones with Sprint, and a Frame Relay connection. What's interesting is that since we make so many long distance calls, using Sprint's Free and Clear PCS plan is actually cheaper than having a local line and paying for long distance that way. As wireless becomes more reliable and ubiquitous, it will become cheaper. I think many people will start switching when they realize that in some cases it is cheaper than having a local phone.
