Frank: CSCO's results were out and as expected they were excellent. However I observed that the have abandoned the Carrier switch market for the current year. I appreciate ATM with LANE and MPOA is now the dominant protocol preferred by the Carriers. However as the traffic flow moves towards data, the ATM cell tax will be expensive. Do you forsee a shift towards IP on Sonet with QoS and is that the likely route for new Carriers. Thanks & may I add I have enjoyed your postings.
