Personally, I have no problem with push button wars so long as we have the most buttons to push. Just wait until Boeing comes out with their pilotless bomber. Then people will be just sitting in control rooms piloting their robotic craft to their targets. Shades of "Ender's Game".

I far prefer today's form of aerial bombing than that which occurred during WWII (and I'm sure the Serbs would agree that carpet bombing of their cities would be far worse than precision bombing).

What I find particularly interesting is how the internet is playing such a role as a vehicle of propaganda and infowar attacks on IT infrastructure.

The internet will prove to be the ultimate jackhammer of democracy, which no nation will be able to sufficiently control. But people will have to learn to control themselves and remain civil towards one another.
