Thanks Dan.

I think I figured out how to change the default chart settings.
After setting up a chart the way you want it i.e. candle and volume, then right click on the chart and click on set layout as default.
I think that will do it, I 'll have to close the program and restart
everything to be sure.

Do you know how to find the IP address of the server you are logged on to? I'd like to run a trace route since the connection has been intermittent today. Presently it's down. I'm having no other internet related problems.
