Great!! I wish you good luck.

The key to any interview is to verify and have the party repeat the story so that you can ensure the story is correct and factually based. Oftentimes you have individuals personalizing someone elses experience that they may have heard, claiming that it was they who endured the event.

These people are in shock from there ordeal, trying to deal with what they have seen and experienced. So sometimes imaginations create events that may not have occurred or derive from rumours.

Verify and re-verify from as many sources as possible, so you'll have as accurate a picture of what transpired as possible.

Then write a book about your experiences and make a bundle.

And if you haven't already thought about it, take one of those mini-taperecorders, a solar panel powered battery recharger, and lots of tapes to record your interviews. Video tape is also a great way to make a buck (strictly for off-setting your expenses, of course) selling your footage to the news agencies.

The Bosnian Serb leaders used to make bundle themselves from staging events and then selling the footage to journalist hungry for a story. (eg: The "capture" of the UN Dutch peacekeepers).

Regards,

Ron
