I disagree. This is one of the greatest performing stocks of all time. The fact that it is on NYSE has brought in conservative fund managers and investors who don't normally trade NASD stocks.

AOL's not on the DOW, it's on the NYSE. A quick lesson in the stock market can be found at such sites as www.fool.com. Personally I think AOL being on the NYSE was a good choice by Mr. Case.

The problem with AOL is that it is on the DOW. If they were smart and listed on Nasdaq, the stock would have been much higher.

There has been speculations that AOL will eventually become one of Dow Jones Industrials because DOW30 index is supposedly refecting the US Economy, and ignoring the internet would not give the entire picture. Right now AOL is just happy to be on NYSE and part of SP500 and SP growth.
