Today because of cox cable buy its all about cable.. athm brcm T etc all up... dsl out.... today.

This cable line dilemma is complex. The opening of the lines is not easy from a technical standpoint. The current lines, from what I've read on this and the ATHM thread, cannot be subdivided easily even if T wanted to. The T-UMG merger is not a done deal, by any means. Congress blocking the deal would be the best solution. The new high speed phone connections are obviously AOL's current solution. I still unfortunately believe ATHM has the upper hand in cable high speed internet. I don't think there is a quick fix change to that. However, the perception that AOL is doing something about it will help.
