I am now disappointed, i thought you had the answer to all these economic questions <g> One more for you (or mike) it seemed that in the coupon pass today, the FED concentrated on the longer term yields. ie they placed their dough on the 21's and 27's bills if so would that mean they are more concerned about the long term rates - and the rising steepness of the interest rate curve. I mean after all, couldnt they add permanent reserves by buying shorter term treasuries. (or it could be I am totally confused - which wouldnt be the 1st time.) thanks
