I don't buy the handset division sale rumor. It's too sudden and the reason given (Qualcomm not able to turn a profit) is too dubious to comment on. If Qualcomm does sell the division they will have a real good plan for all the cash they would likely see.

Pure speculation, of course, but a Siemens handset deal would also fit into the persistent rumors recently about Siemens being very interested in 3Com (Q's handset plus Com's Palm technology aka PDQ). ...Tim
