Mel and all, Some less interesting news of the day that involves someone from ATIS:infoseek.go.com Otherwise, of interest today is the fact that just over half of today's volume was apparently institutional in nature, something I haven't truly seen in quite some time. If it can maintain the 5+ price, it will start getting noticed again by the bigger guys, especially as long as there is legit. fundamental reason to be noticed, although the big guys like the thought of what are you going to do for me this qtr(or the long-minded may think in terms of 2 qtrs). It looked like today's early trading was testing the old adage of sell on the news, giving the initial "shake" in an apparent attempt to accumulate more shares at a lower price, and then doing something this stock hasn't done in a long time....close up on a day of news. The gradual continued buying and gradual price movement bodes well, and is more sustainable than a sudden jump, and the move over 5 for most of the day, with a closing bid over 5, in itself is significant at this time(although not as thrilling to those of who remember the days in the teens). As there continues to be a run of positive releases, it appears that deciding when to release the qtrlies themselves becomes more difficult, as they can't all come out simultaneously, and the company wants to be careful from a pr perspective I would imagine. I figure that they wouldn't want to send something out the same day as other big news, and I'd even be surprised if they announced before the open tomorrow, but I wouldn't count on waiting til friday either....if so, and if there is good news, the decision then comes whether to wait for monday. None of it really matters in the long haul though. Today's announcement seems like a solid way to fill in spots where S&N wouldn't be interested, yet helping a bit with cash/revenues along the way without causing much pain for ATIS(ie significant dilution, etc.). TGIF-1. Have a good one all. marshall
