MANCHESTER, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 12, 1999--Silknet Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:SILK), today announced that Priceline.com (NASDAQ:PCLN) has purchased Silknet eCommerce(TM) and Silknet eService(TM) to provide Priceline.com's customers with personalized shopping and online customer service support. Terms of the sale were not disclosed. Priceline.com enables consumers to save time and money by naming their own price for a variety of travel, automotive and personal financial products.
