Manchester, NH-- May 12, 1999--Silknet Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:SILK), today announced that Priceline.com (NASDAQ: PCLN) has purchased Silknet eCommerce™ and Silknet eService™ to provide Priceline.com's customers with personalized shopping and online customer service support. Terms of the sale were not disclosed. Priceline.com enables consumers to save time and money by naming their own price for a variety of travel, automotive and personal financial products.

BEYOND.COM ADVANCES CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH WEB-BASED SILKNET ESERVICE

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 10, 1999--Internet software superstore Beyond.com(TM) (Nasdaq: BYND - news) said today it signed a contract for a browser-based customer support solution that is easy to use and intuitive.

Silknet Software Inc. (Nasdaq: SILK - news) will implement the Web-based system, called eService™, for Beyond.com as part of Beyond.com's commitment to adopting new technology that gives customers a better shopping experience on the Internet. The system is scheduled to be operational by mid-summer.
