Zeev...I think most that fear the obvious cash flow ( and standard valuation and market) risks have sold.
Went over the balance sheet with a fine tooth comb a few weeks ago.
AXC has a board of directors entirely composed of financial professionals. So many of our assessments now involve what seem like logical assumptions based upon the limited amount that we actually know. One of those assumptions is that they have their eye closely on the cash flow ball. Another is that they made such fine deals on their affiliate stakes ( the heart of the value here) that if necessary they can sell off any or all of the pieces for an amount likely higher than the present capitalization. But it is good to mention the risks, and they are there. Thanks.

Another of the many assumptions we make, Zeev.
That the folks they recently hired - impressive credentials all- would not have joined up unless they had good reason to suppose that Ampex would both be around for awhile and have the wherewithal to support their new agenda.

Other than that, we are generally an unassuming bunch <g>,
But this remains an informed gamble. Please do help keep our feet on the ground, because many of our dreams are surely in the clouds.

Zeev

Perhaps you are just the one to round out this board. We could make you our "Honorary Bear" to ensure that we maintain a sound perspective in the effort here to determine the future of Ampex. <<vbg>> As far as cash burn of the subs, I not sure. However AENTV and TVontheWeb have been showing some modest profit as others here have posted. Reiters is currently "tripling every year" as per the CEO. I think the only drag on Ampex by subs currently is MicroNet. Ampex is working to turn that around. There has been much discussion about IPOs'. Some think it a little early, and need more time to ripen. Others think the time is now. Still others think that an alliance with a major will solve that problem. Perhaps others, more knowledgeable than I, can better answer your concerns.

Anyway Zeev I nominate you our "Honorary Bear" Anyone second that?

Best Regards TW
