"Company Press Release

MRV's Layer 3 Gigabit Switch Router Wins
NetWorld + Interop Best of Show Award

GFS3016 With Redundant CPU and CWDM Technology Awarded Winner In WAN and Remote Access Category ...

Introduced last month, the GFS3016 is the first product on the market to integrate Coarse Wave Division Multiplexing (CWDM) and Gigabit Ethernet. This fully redundant system enables maximum network uptime and enhances Gigabit technology to a new extreme. The GFS3016 is currently available, and has been successfully installed in several Japanese government institutions and universities."

Above is repetitious but I interpret it as there are categories for Best of Show and within the Wan and Remote Access Category we are the winner with the GFS3016. There are multiple Best of Show awardees according to this interpretation, depending on the category. if there is an overall Best of Show product that remains to be seen, IMHO.

John...I wasn't in Vegas but I wish I was. I think what we are reading is that they won best in category and then won best of show with the same product. I would think you have to win your category before you can win best of show.

I still wonder what happened with the new and improved Edgeblaster. Oh well, you can't win 'em all I guess.
