Why sell now? why not wait 6 months when Q flip is in full glory? If you sell it why not sell to Nokia and get vendor agreament for chips? I dont think the handset division will be sold. It may be change at the top but I consider that negativly. If Irwin was not at the helm It would weaken my confidence. I would consider that a negative. I know nothing about Paul Jacobs, and do not know his CEO credentials. I dont think Nepatism works either!

There is a difference between analysts speculation and a rumor. The rumor that Steve kindly made us aware of is that the handset division sale is a done deal. Personally I think without any hard evidence of a sale, the rumor shouldn't be taken too seriously.
