Bill: Just saw on Fox News a Republican congressman, forgot his name, state that two things can come out of the upcoming impeachment vote on Boris Yeltsin, and both are bad....very bad for our country. 1) Yeltsin is not impeached by a 2/3rd vote of their Duma and he will dismiss the Duma and effectively becomes a dictator. 2) He calls for new elections and, in light of the declining relations between Russia and the U.S. in the last few months, the Communist hardliners will for sure take the Duma and control of the country. He said Yeltsin is afraid for his and his wife's life. He also said, and I agree, this can all be laid at the feet of Clinton and his total bungling of foreign policy. We could easily be looking at another protracted cold war with both Russia and China allied against the West. It seems as if we are going down hill and picking up speed while this nincompoop is in office. halfscot
