The Cox deal seems to have only positives attached to it. They have been a very good partner with ATHM and this offers ATHM more homes passed.

Briand, sorry, thought you might have been a new guy and didn't realize these guys were from the same state as AOL. But yes, the perception out there is so off the mark. Could it be that too many institutions have too much tied up in AOL to tell the real story.

For example, the Direct PC thing I posted last night. AOL TV is nothing more than that and it is one way, yet all the business news shows talked about AOL now having a broadband solution. could they really be that ill informed?? Still need a 56K modem, still need the extra phone line and still have to buy a dish and can only connect to 2 TV's max, then there's the set top box for Direct TV and the $1.99 per hour charge after your first 25 hours, and ....Geesh how can they miss all that???
