This product/announcement applies to LAN (local area network) traffic only. There are severe distance limitations with Gigabit Ethernet. I see this being big in existing corporate networks, not to the home.

CGarcia .......If I understand this correctly this is for in office network use. This will not allow telephone line access to AOL transfer any faster.

Please correct me if I"m wrong?
