Actually, I was referring to something that may have come from Cisco directly. I'll shop around, and if I find that it was I who posted it, I'm going to take a long walk and chill for a while ;-) One thing I'll say is that despite any axe that Chambers may have to grind (and recent statements from him sure make it sound that way, to the extreme, with respect to replacing their entire in house voice infrastructue), I don't think that they will back off of their usual hedging strategy, spiting the opposition, while harming themselves in the process. They surely see the more lucrative transitional opportunities at this time outweighing any benefits that could be derived from a philosophical victory, which would IMO be turned into a Pyrrhic one. But who knows? Pointing out the historical developments in the cellular model served as a good example of the potential unknown perils that may exist there, btw. Later.
