Yes, but the feeling was that he was essential to the perception of stability by the world markets.

He leaves, the NASDAQ is up more than 1.5%, the S&P more than 1/2% and the Dow almost closed higher but in the last few minutes dropped a 1/4%.

Obviously, the Admin must have a healthy view that the economy is very robust to agree that he can go now.
