An electron passed fron one sub-orbital of a copper atom to another, is the change in potential that makes up an electrical current, these changes make up the positive or negative pulses used to simulate 1's or 0's in binary data transfer,these occur near the speed of light,and it is just the chip at the end of the signal that process this,also the digital data {1's zeros} can be transmitted can be transmitted piggybacked /juxtraposed in different frequencies. Why is broadcoms/epipgrams chip strictly limited to ethernets or LAN...???

anybody hearing the rumor that AOL or a top exec is buying the washington capitals and wizards? and if it is true what do you think it will do for AOL?? Yes -- Ted Leonsis is apparently going to buy the Caps. I don't believe it will be headline news for the Street. Reminds me of Paul Allen. If you have the $, and love sports -- why the heck not!? S.

Don't know about that but I just heard that Paul Allen is making a bid for the Pittsburg Penguins of the National Hockey League.
