CMGI Comments On Termination of the Lycos-USA Networks Transaction

ANDOVER, MASS. (May 12) BUSINESS WIRE -May 12, 1999--David Wetherell,

today that the decision by USA Networks not to pursue its transaction
with Lycos, Inc. will enable Lycos to return attention to further
development of its core online assets.

the market gives a high volatility in cmgi, and we take what the market gives us. i checked qcom, the volatility is not as high as cmgi and as you correctly pointed out, it will take a longer time. i think i am going to have a lot of fun (and profit) playing this game. vbg
