Freeus I had IBM three times and it was always downgraded or just did not move anywhere. Now it seems that everybody loves it. I just don't get it?? What the heck am I missing here???

Hi Freeus,
As long as the interest rate bears are padding around here, IBM will be seen as a palatable growth stock, given its relatively low PE. Gerstner (a consummate marketer) is re-marketing IBM as a high-tech research machine and partner/supplier to great growth companies like DELL and EMC. As an investor in Dell, IBM and EMC it seems like a great strategy for IBM to associate with high-growth entities and get some juice in its long-suffering stock. My wife and I have held IBM common shares since she worked there 10 years ago - finally paying off . Got some July calls working for us as well. Good trading!!!
