I agree with the professor on his major point- Alberthal, Fernandes, and Rudin were all my friends and I have a lot of respect for them and other guys like Larry Bryant. But the facts are that EDS got into problems because it turned into a huge bureaucratic organization where people were afraid to take risks and assume accountability. Les and Gary have to take full responsibility for this Frankenstein. Dick Brown has to provide vision and give his troops the authority to make good business decisions that involve taking business risks without fear of losing their jobs or ability to advance in management scope.
