I would tend to agree on IBM as a possible suitor, they did license palm and use Total control in their network as well as have tech sharing agreement with COMS. The thing about the NICS/Modems is that IBM is rapidly becoming the top supplier to Dell for PC components and they almost completely manufacture the Powerbooks for AAPL. Adding Nics/Modems to this "one stop supplier" for box makers is not a far stretch IMHO.

My top two choices would be IBM and Siemens. Spinning off Palm would be nice too. I guess I am still waiting for the street to get "Palm" religion and bid this baby up. Last year was net, then broadband, I hope ( rubbing lamp) that palm in next.
