i bet you that isn't the case.

i bet more ipo's either

a) close the first few days up (and within a couple points) of their first day close or

b) they close significantly higher during the first few days than their first day close.

i just glanced at NETO, ADFC, and MMXI. but i don't have a comprehensive list of recent ipo's to really scrutinize.

i think TSCM's performance today was not par for the course.

add to that list 5 more ipo's since 5/6... ROIA, PRSF, DEST, LATD and MAKR. PRSF is the only one that has behaved like TSCM, i.e, lost significant points on second day and a few on the 3rd day. it then recouped more than that in the 4th and 5th day. so none of the ipo's that have come out since 5/6 have fit your description of "par for the course".

maybe this is not a fair cross section.
