All,

With respect to the announcement and discussion (yesterday?) that Merced would not support DRDRAM at release, I received a PM from someone who wanted to stay anonymous that DRDRAM support was never planned for Merced since the original Merced schedule was for shipment last Fall/Winter. As Merced slipped, DRDRAM support would of had to have been added to the product, which probably wasn't going to happen in the face of delays. The individual pointed out that anyone who follows Merced development (analysts, etc.) would know this already and not be surprised.

Dave

Truff: I have a core RMBS position that won't be sold. Have held it since the 30s. Picked up some more today. And depending on market conditions, will be buying even more on the pullbacks. Zeev's 70 sounds about right at the moment for the short term bottom, but who knows with RMBS. I saw a lot of institutional interest today. But summer is summer. So I wouldn't be surprised to see almost ANYTHING happen from here. As for BRCM, as I told you on that fateful day, BRCM under 50 is a gift...and that it was. Glad you took the plunge. Though -- honestly -- it makes me a bit nervous at these levels. That said, it is at times like this that stocks seem to shoot up to astronomical levels as the shorts scramble. Hope you were able to get out of your NSOL position without much pain. sam

I like to forget them, it has been too frustrating since then. I made a lot of money trading RMBS then now I have no clue to where it is going.
