Speaking of PC sales....we have been in contact with enchilada.com on their free pc offer. Looks good so far. free k-6 amd 300mhz, 3.2 gig hd, 32mb ram, windows 98, 56 k modem etc. for signing up with them at 19.99 mo for isp sevice. 4 year contract is the catch. Big deal. You can also discount by paying up front, updrae the pc, etc. Why buy retail when you can get it for free?

Whoops, no sexual innuendos please. -g-

MB,

That is a pretty strong set of statements!!!

Let's take a look at them.......

A couple of corrections and comments first:

The sequential decline in YOY growth rate for DELL between calendar Q1 (52%) and Q4 (56%) was 4% not 6%. You are 50% too high with your estimate.

A better forecast of DELL's YOY ASP decline is -7.6% not -10%.
You are ~31% too high with this estimate.

Now the real crux of your position lies in the statement

"I think April was much worse than January".

Why do you think that April was worse for DELL than January?
