Barnes and Noble (Nasdaq: BKS) shareholders responded to TheStreet.com's IPO success with enthusiastic messages in bulletin boards all over the Web. Does it bother anyone else, that the biggest story about the BNBN IPO appears to be our own collective enthusiasm about it? You'd think it'd be starting to show up in the price by now. Oh, and on that point, if I read one more post from someone (and you know who you are) excusing the lack of action as "manipulation by market makers", I am going to make my own contribution to the selling pressure on this stock. I am serious.
