Henry: I did not attend the meeting. My source of information there was post 1271 where it was reported: Q: Aetrium competition? A: They are doing poorly as is Cyco (spelling?). [Should be Aseco] Those stocks are hurting. I just wonder to what degree Cohu can now profit by their weakness. I think probably the best way would be to just try to take over their customers. But often buy-outs in these situations is based not on the value of the acquired company to the acquiring company, but the fear of the weak company being taken over by a strong competitor. Then you have overpriced take-overs, and the price of the acquiring co. goes down, at least temporarily. Geoff Wren Geoff Wren
