I am sorry to have mentioned the "sources". These "sources" are second hand hence there are no guarantees. If you wish to read these rumors please go to the ALMI Raging Bull thread (free service)http://www.ragingbull.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=ALMI . I bought into ALMI based on the DD done on that thread and those rumors. (I believe in them - honestly - but I can't name the direct "sources" other then the link to the RB and, in particular, posts by "Almiman" there. If you ask Almiman he will probably give you some more information about what's coming (if you prefer emailing to posting on the RB thread you can do that, since his email address has been posted on that thread: SBKatz@aol.com
Again, please do your DD before investing in Almi; there are no guarantees the rumours are correct. Good luck with your investments.

Regarding ALMI Internet spin-off, this is a paragraph from the overview research link I have posted here:

"The price for setting up a customer with AC Spotlight will range anywhere from $10,000 to $100,000-plus depending on the size, complexity and specific requirements of the organization, in addition to a flat annual fee and/or user charges. Management says that the basic research and development for AlphaConnect is 95% completed. To cash in on this development achievement, the company over the next six months will be exploring several options, including a strategic marketing partnership, a spin-off from the parent company or the outright sale of the technology. In any event, marketing of the AC technology could dovetail neatly with its existing IT Service customer relationships. "
