Pete - Why bother to monitor your investments at all? Buy some stuff and see how it did when you retire. That's what my Grandmother did. On the other hand, someone who is looking to modify their investment portfolio now cares a lot about what the stock price will do in the next few weeks or months. If all you care about is what the stock will look like in 6 months, why are you on SI in the first place?

Heck Pete, That would make a forum like SI totally redundant.... I feel that through interaction and debate with my fellow threadsters I have learned things, valuable things. Don't denegrate that! H
