Fans of Dell Computer (DELL) saw the world's leading
business computer distributor rise 1 5/16 to 43 15/16 on
volume of 21 million shares, Nasdaq's fourth-most active. In
note #13062, Dellman alerted shareholders to something he
spotted in a company proxy filing.

"Dell is asking shareholders to increase the number of
authorized shares from 3b to 7b," Dellman stated, "at the
annual shareholders meeting to be held July 16. Wow, talk
about bullish. Obviously we won't be seeing a split this quarter,
but Michael must see one within the year in order to put this to
a vote at this year's shareholders meeting."
